Apologies - the site was down for two hours earlier. Not sure exactly what happened but the site is on shared hosting with Dreamhost and it exceeded the number of concurrent connections that we are allowed (it has happened a few times recently, but previously only usually for ten minute periods.)
This was a bit disappointing so we will take action to fix the problem but it could mean taking the site down for maybe half a day in the near future.

EDIT: Now found the culprit, it's Yahoo!'s crawler (Slurp) which is causing the problems. I've spoken to Yahoo! and they are currently investigating.
