What does it mean to "name your own rank?" What happens when you get to 10,000 points and reach level 8?

It's just the text that goes between a username and an avatar. That's the only thing that you unlock at level 8.

Custom page sizes would be a nice perk for level 8 members, albummaster! Just an idea!
