The rhythm section is adequate to the task. The soloists--Geller on alto, Ziggy Vines on tenor, and trumpeter Conte Candoli--on the other hand, are excellent. It's got that fluid, mellow, over-easy West Coast Jazz sound, which some listeners are going to like more than others, but if you like the "cool jazz" sound, this is really good.
