Ulla Straus wasn't somebody I was familiar with when this came out last January, but I gave it a go as something to listen to whilst job hunting. The simultaneously unsettling and tender atmosphere she's able to evoke on here was far more than I bargained for -- ambient music with real heart and soul to it.
