Corp has grown a lot as a producer, and this vast departure of style is unexpected but welcome. In 2013, he initially started out with low effort and baseline sample edits early on, but between multiple phases has grown to add more layers to his production and more grandiose album concepts.

Finally, he went sample-free with the 2018 telepath split. His solo first album since 2018, he takes a Space Ambient approach with very clean and airy synths. All of it floats and drifts smoothly, without much hitch in the track listing or distinction between songs. It's a pleasant albeit derivative ride, but I would like to see him experiment more in this direction.

Steve Roach, master of ambient that he is, is getting old. We need someone to take the mantle. You could've fooled me, as this literally sounds exactly like him. Not bad!
