A bit of a surprise coming from these guys, a slightly-quirky English post-punk-power-pop outfit who had given little indication of being "Christmas people" in the past — though they did once release a b-side called "Christmas was Better in the 80s," which is included as the last track on this LP. (They were right, by the way.) Nevertheless, this is now my favorite Christmas album ever, though that's not really saying much since I generally don't like Christmas albums. Still, I've heard a lot of them, so it's actually quite a feat! Especially these days, with the rise of secularism and all that sort of thing.

A lot of hard work happens in the background to keep BEA running, and it's especially difficult to do this when we can't pay our hosting fees :(
