This band from Laramie, Wyoming prefers to be tagged as "Peaveygaze" rather than "Grungegaze," presumably because they play through Peavey guitar amps. There's no company called "Grunge" or "Grungey" that makes guitar amps, so this makes perfect sense. They definitely qualify as something-gaze though, since the guitars are super-loud and you can't hear the singer very well, if at all. To me, they sound a little more like "Doomgaze," because they seem to be tuning their guitars down a bit like Black Sabbath used to do to get more "doomy" sound, but maybe that's just me... I guess what I'm trying to say here is that there are too many "gazes" out there, genre-wise, and you should just listen to all of it and make up your own mind, even though that would be impossible for you or anyone else to do considering how much of it there is and the time constraints involved.
