I've seen it said in certain critic reviews of this album that Miley did a bait and switch with the title of the album and first track, and I both agree and disagree. It's not a dance album like I was expecting after the first track, or at least not in the way I was expecting. It still had strong bass parts in almost every song, but instead of being a dance in the club type of album it was a dance in the kitchen with your lover type of album. It's bookmarked by a dance song and a remix of that song, but the bass was persuading her towards her man more than the audience to dance. The album even culminates in a beautiful song depicting their engagement. It's an intimate, yet still bass driven experience. I think last year's Something Beautiful was much stronger, but I appreciate what she went for with this one and I think she still produced a great album.
