This is not "my" greatest albums of all-time chart, just forty albums (as of right now) that are not recognized by anyone on this site. The goal is to incite interest in some of these albums that I am putting on this list...although some I may include in perhaps a decade list.

Electronic pop music at its best...Hans-Joachim Roedelius at his best before the band worked with Brian Eno in '77. Roedelius, I believe, was a part of Kraftwerk before "Autobahn".

Between 1966 and 1969 they sold more albums then anyone...second only to The Beatles and Rolling Stones. Great garage band.

Tom Rapp sings like he's Dylan on LSD...although psychedelic...consider maybe Canterbury Scene.

And now...actual Canterbury Scene. Along with Robert Wyatt, made up the experimental jazz-rock band Soft Machine.

"Stand and Deliver" and "Prince Charming"...two pop gems in the post-punk era...primitive tribal beats.

Reggae-pop at its best in 1977. Title track is absolutely fantastic!

Rivals that of anything Gang of Four ever did in terms of danceable funk/pop/punk music...just without the politics.

Very good kraut/postpunk/mutant disco turn to this. I'm definitely coming back to this for fresh ideas.
