Este álbum es un trabajo muy completo, y muy maduro de Mago de Oz, podría decirse que estaban en su mejor momento. Este álbum combina una mezcla de Heavy Metal muy poderoso, agreste, violento, hasta infernal podría decirse por canciones como "Astarot", "el Principe de la dulce Pena" y "Diabulus in Musica", "En el nombre de Dios", pero sobretodo este ritmo con el que se suelen musicalizar los rituales y apariciones de seres infernales, de un modo pagano, propio de la representación de un Aquelarre.
En todas las canciones está presente una guitarra eléctrica que le da el poder a la escena, incluso cuando tratan temas amorosos como "Desde mi cielo" y "Hazme un sitio entre tu piel", en los que la voz aguda y la combinación enormamente emocionante de Jose Andrea, los violines y las flautas, que logran acariciar los sentires profundos de muchos de nosotros.
Siempre presente dentro de su estética medieval europea, que canta desde la voz dormida y calllada de los pueblos celtas; pero no solo de estos, la narrativa posterior que encontramos en la cartilla del álbum nos contará la historia de un sujeto subalterno: una persona con sindrome de down. Esto hace particularmente interesante el álbum porque lo inscribe en la tradición del Rock Progresivo, que construye una narrativa bajo red entre todos los temas presentes dentro de los álbumes.
