What could be described as Miller Anderson's 1st "solo album". How this great blues / rock album disappeared without trace is a huge mystery to me. Anyway, Miller has played with a huge variety of artists including Dave Cousins from The Strawbs

The easy way to go from Dave is The Strawbs but I'm going a less obvious route. Also contributing to this album was Roger Glover on bass. Roger of course is way better known as the bass player with Deep Purple

A less well known Purple album here and we are going to hang out with these great heavy rockers for the next few selections. Richie Blackmore was the main man in Deep Purple but also had other projects including a long standing association with Rainbow

Bernie Marsden played guitar on Ready An' Willing. Saw him guest with Gov't Mule at a gig in London, I think @ Under The Bridge in Fulham. Excellent guitarist
