My top 100 artists/albums: New Zealand

In this chart I chronologically map the music emanating from New Zealand between 1962 to the present.
My ambition (successfully accomplished) was to have each year represented at least once and to include my favourite album from each of my 100 favourite artists.
For a small nation (popn 2.5m in 1962/5.0m 2020), NZ has certainly punched above its weight on the modern music market front and many of the artists in this chart deserve greater recognition and credit (including on the BEA site).
Hopefully, this chart goes some way to enhancing NZ's reputation as a place to visit on any world tour of modern music.

Great concept for a chart and a load here I don't know that I will explore. I came here because of knowing Blerta who have an album in the chart. decent band.

Well made and intersting chart! There is only 5 I've heard here and a lot I haven't heard of which helps go to show your point. A few I forgot/didn't realise were from NZ oops lol.
