Leïla Martial is a French vocalist who destroys the traditional role of what a singer does. She pushes her voice to its limits in ways that are sometimes uncomfortable but always intriguing. She sings, scats, purrs, screeches, howls, growls, squeaks, shouts, and whispers. She doesn't shy away from experimentation, running her vocals through an array of effects and embracing a wide gamut of musical styles, always bringing something unique to the table.
