I have always loved this song, the sense of despair, crushing loneliness, the rawness of emotional turmoil it conjures up. Yet it doesn't give any hope for a better future ! A true British song, stark, dismal, painful reality.
Love this track from this amazing album. In my opinion is them best song and, of the bests from the 80s.
There's no other song similar to this.
