Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.6/100, a mean average of 88.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.9/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.8.

I LOVE this one. probably my favorite on the album. I guess thats a cliche thing to say based on the ratings, but this track is amazing. I love the way they incoporated strings and brass, and the guitars seem to just like, wash over the track. It's like a good hot shower.
Wow, Metalica sing about love instead of the usual suicide, death, loneliness etc. Great track.
Ok to begin with but a little bit overdone, the typical growly put-on vocals really don't suit this song.
The devil's advocate in me wishes the guitar solo at the end was a bit longer, but this is still a classic Metallica song.
A truly beautiful song especially with the string arrangement. Very ballsy of them to put it on the album.
My favourite Metallica song.
Metallica wrote a beautiful ballad with good singing and good lyrics. The song could have used just a little bit of work to make it better, but it's still a very good song.
One of Metallica's softest songs. Definitely the ballad that no one ever expected to hear Metallica write. However, it's an excellent song with a great guitar solo and some of Hetfield's most emotional vocal performances.
