This is an abomination. The entire band should be taken out and maimed for putting this godawful thing on record. Let Axl NEVER (try to)sing again. Maybe the worst vocal ever recorded. "Ay-ay-ay-ay" my ass.
Despite the voice, I'd take this over the Bob Dylan version everyday. I love the rock-gospel ending.
Fantastic cover. Like it way more than the original
Terrible cover. G'N'R take Bob Dylan's intimate death hymn and try to turn it into, we are the champions. Camp, bombastic and totally unnecessary. Makes the Chili Peppers, subterranean homesick blues, sound like Hendrix's, all along the watchtower. Atrocious.
Tempted to give it a higher grade just because it is an amazing song. That being said, this is a bad cover of an amazing song.
