Rating metrics: Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 4% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 82.1/100, a mean average of 81.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 82.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.8.

Most under-rated track on this record, predating the Velvet Underground sound from their debut. It's not quite on the same level with Rain or other classics on this record, but on it's own it's a pretty flawless song.

An unfortunate sh*t stain on the most innovative album of all time, and maybe the Beatles best. If this song was swapped with the B Side song “Rain” this would be a perfect album. Oh well, just a funny song reminiscent of the Help era.

Even the weakest song of the album is really good.
I can't help buy singing every time it pops up.
Some say it should have been replaced with Rain or Paperback Writer tho.

One of my favourites on the album, surprisingly. It pumps along really well with that cool rhythm and the catchy vocals. The key changes in the riff are very satisfying also.

Sounds like their early stuff, maybe the weakest on the album, but in itself an OK song :)

Possibly inspired by the dentist that slipped LSD into John Lennon's and George Harrison's coffee at a dinner party, Dr. Robert, is probably the weakest of Lennon's contributions to Revolver. It's decent enough, a kind of country acid blues, if there's any such thing, but in truth it's one of Revolver's lesser tracks. Still brilliant though.

Surely weakest track on the album. Sounds like early Beatles songs.

Possibly the weakest link of the album, but still OK.
