Recently I was convinced to check out of Montreal, and this seemed to be recognised as their best song, so I started here. My vaguely negative preconceptions of the band were reinforced when I saw this song was 12 minutes long, but I thought "oh well", and listened anyway.
But holy fuck is this good. A catchy riff, and interesting lyrics. The 12 minutes went too fast.
I think it's a great song...but at the same time I sometimes think hearing the same riff for 12 minutes is a bit too much. Maybe a few mins less would've made it perfect. Still a great song to listen to every now and then
