Irony doesn't come across clearly in song. Cobain was disappointed that Polly and About a Girl were not understood. So he wrote this as a blatant anti rape song, but these base repetitive lyrics are still open to interpretation.
Also the opening and other parts of the track owe too much to 'Smells', for it to be considered anything other than a 'good' Nirvana standard.
The earlier comment on McDonald's is thought provoking but probably not correct. Site rules apply

One of my favourite Nirvana songs.
Nirvana on autopilot.
I used to think this was the best song on the album, until I discovered Serve The Servants and Very Ape. Either way, this is one awesome song.
