An excellent ballad! Great lyric, great music, all convincingly delivered.
After the huge success of the Angie single it seems the Stones became a lot more confident about including ballads on their albums. In fact they sound more assured on a song like this than they do on the rockers on the album. Til' the next goodbye is a perfect example of this. It's a beautiful song with a lovely swirling melody and is one of the best songs on the album. A very pleasant track.
