Check out black midi's new single "John L" if you get the chance. Sound of the summer.
The music backing this is frantic, fantastic, and has an element of insanity and grandiosity thrown in there, but I think the story it tells lyrically (and in the video) is so, so good. The dark surrealist cultism mixed in with the ridiculousness and comedy of it all is just such an overwhelming combination and its the absolute tits.
