A slow dirgey rocker here from Bruce. It’s a really powerful track for me with an emotional delivery from the great man. He pours his heart into this one. It’s raw and distorted, emotional and shouty and I guess, at the end of the day, bleak. I love it!
It feels like Bruce is on the edge here throughout the whole track. Just teetering on the edge of keeping it together
The guitars, as important on this track as any other on DOTEOT are awesome.
I’ve seen it described as an “acid-toned electric rock track”. I’m not even sure what that means exactly but it feels right.
Listen up! It’s an often overlooked track which deserves your attention. (Edited)
Great powerful vocals and guitar strums from Bruce alongside an otherwise subdued melody. It really works, and it makes for a great song.
