Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.4/100, a mean average of 87.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.2/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.8.

Definitely in my top 10 favourite songs. The bridge is amazing. Love the guitar solo while the original riff plays in the background. 100/100

I don't particularly disagree with the what the lyrics are saying or anything but it's just so... ehh. It reminds me way too much of the kind of thing you'd see in the comments section of a Queen video on YouTube with "im just 13 but love this kind of music i was born in the wrong generation."

I love that hook. The lyrics are about how radio sucks. And yup, it does, because you don't hear "wondrous" music like this but instead Justin fuckin Bieber and Nickelback and all the other shit that is nowhere near as beautiful as this song.

An outstanding song. This and Trains should be rock radio staples - no excuses.

Agree, it's definitely catchy and groovy. Also really the lyrics, I think there might be a lot of truth to them!
