Yes it's been played to death, but it's still one of the best songs out there! (Edited)
Extremely overplayed, but I don't think it's overrated. This song and the rest of Nevermind brought grunge to the main stream. (Edited)
Borrowed a van to help a friend move house a few years back. Noticed the previous occupant had left the CD of Nevermind in the player so pressed play.
Thought nothing of it as SLiTS played through, having heard the song a couple of hundred times I guess. You know - just driving along. When the song finished my 6 year old piped up from nowhere, ‘that’s the best song I have ever heard’.

I want to hate it... but I can't. Damn, it's good. It has the brilliant start from the first four power chords, and then BAM it hits you. Every teenager going through teen angst can appreciate this song, luckily I am pretty much through the 'fuck the world; it is boring' kind of teen angst stage but still, I appreciate this song and what it meant to me aged 13. Radio sadly killed it. Good song though, although I personally prefer Come As you Are.
