Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track has a Bayesian average rating of 76.7/100, a mean average of 76.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 12.9.

Since I was litte I enjoyed this song. Such a good atmosphere! And that once-twice-piano trick si simple but fun. It's a pity that it is quite low rated here.
A song that John and Paul wrote in the fifties. It was just a run through, a bit of fun, and Lennon and McCartney were probably as surprised as anyone to see it on the album. It's a bit dull, and certainly hasn't got the energy that the early Beatles did, and compared with the kind of rock'n'roll the Stones were churning out at this point, it is a bit weak. Extremely average, not really good enough for the Beatles.

At least they're rockin.
