Listen to "I'm gonna love you too" by Buddy Holly and then come back to this song. The melody of the verse sounds suspiciously similar. Still a cool song though.

I always loved how Clash incorporated Jamaican influences to their music. Here, apart from the obvious musical elements, we get a satyrical view of a typical English rudeboy. Great.

The Clash have proven themselves to be very interesting. From rock to punk to reggae, what a combination.
