Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.8/100, a mean average of 91.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 92.0/100. The standard deviation for this track is 10.6.

I don’t think there’s anything about Moonage Daydream that isn’t completely creative, memorable, and well-executed. By the outro, this song has one foot on Earth and the other high above the clouds. The track is both natural and celestial.
Outstanding track and one of my favorite songs in Bowie’s massive discography.
Mick Ronson isn't discussed much outside of Guitar aficionados , but his work with Bowie particularly on "Moonage Daydream" is brilliant.
This is some heavy stuff!
Absolutely love this song. I can screech that entire guitar solo - lol. Love it from start to finish. The crazy lyrics I believe come from his cut-up words phase and pick them at random and see how they fit:
"I'm an alligator, I'm a mama-papa coming for you
I'm the space invader, I'll be a rock 'n' rollin' bitch for you
Keep your mouth shut, you're squawking like a pink monkey bird
And I'm busting up my brains for the words"
And on top of the guitar solo I love the echo vocal he does during that final stage
incredible guitar, love it
Great track, love the bridge!
FREAK OUT
The blend of the piano and the guitar works perfectly. Just when you thought the song couldn't get any better... the guitar solo kicks in
My favourite track in an album filled with killer tracks.
Great hard song with incredible guitar, one of the greatest from the album
