Rating metrics: Help Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)

This album is rated in the top 4% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 76.3/100, a mean average of 76.1/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 76.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 17.0.

Mick Ronson really makes these live performances rock, him and Bowie's songs entwined together were an all too brief period of pure creative magic.

An excellent live album like a greatest hits of Bowie's career at that time.

I hesitate to include this album in my all-time charts because on one hand it's a live album and on the other hand it can be considered a compilation. But i think this stage interpretation of Bowie works is unique enough as its own complete statement that it belongs in the ears of everyone who likes Bowie and is familiar with his early 70s albums. He & Ronson bring some healthy rock to his spacey psychedelia and it works.

A great live album. A complete show full of great songs. Mick Ronson's solos are amazing. To be noticed the acoustic solo performance of My Death, simply wonderful.

Highlight of the album: Mick Ronson's guitar solo at the end of Moonage Daydream. It's amazing, and you can't find it anywhere else, not even the original Ziggy Stardust album.

I rate this work in one way, the songs, because the song and the quality are incredible, just the songs, and coming from Bowie, there will be masterpieces here, I think so
