I will never understand how similar songs like God Only Knows, Something, or Yesterday are considered some of the greatest songs ever written, and this song is seldom mentioned. Absolute perfection (Edited)
The most beautiful song Paul McCartney has ever written. It's also the Beatles most beautiful track. It is wonderfully structured, the lyrics are superb, and McCartney's vocal performance is sublime. Paul McCartney wrote some lovely ballads. Yesterday, Michelle, hey Jude, maybe I'm amazed, and, calico skies, but here, there and everywhere, is his most beautiful creation. A perfect song. (Edited)
This is my favorite Beatles song. It's so beautiful and bizarre and catchy. I think it's a funny coincidence that it's also the favorite pop song of Art Garfunkel, the (admittedly weaker) half of my favorite band. (Edited)
