Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.9/100, a mean average of 89.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 90.1/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.7.

My Dad's favourite track. Took him to see Paul in 2003 in Sheffield at the rescheduled gig .[Paul had cancelled due to a cold at the last minute.]. When he played this my dad cried all the way through. I'm sure Paul saw him. We were only about 10 rows from the front. Nice moment. Not spoke to him since 2005 [his decision not mine] but that was a nice moment. If I'd only knew what he was really like...oh well you learn.
Perfect ballad inspired by God only knows
Uma das músicas mais reconhecidas do grupo. Puro psychedelic pop.
This is pure McCartney
I will never understand how similar songs like God Only Knows, Something, or Yesterday are considered some of the greatest songs ever written, and this song is seldom mentioned. Absolute perfection
Fell in love with this song years ago, and it still is one of my favorite Beatles tracks!
The most beautiful song Paul McCartney has ever written. It's also the Beatles most beautiful track. It is wonderfully structured, the lyrics are superb, and McCartney's vocal performance is sublime. Paul McCartney wrote some lovely ballads. Yesterday, Michelle, hey Jude, maybe I'm amazed, and, calico skies, but here, there and everywhere, is his most beautiful creation. A perfect song.
This is my favorite Beatles song. It's so beautiful and bizarre and catchy. I think it's a funny coincidence that it's also the favorite pop song of Art Garfunkel, the (admittedly weaker) half of my favorite band.
One of the most beautiful love songs ever. The way the track flows, the chord progression, is also amazing.
