When Dylan wrote this timeless beauty in 1963 it was the second or third best song he’d written*
It didn’t make it onto that years Freewheelin’ or either of the next years albums. In fact, it didn’t appear on an album until this 1985 compilation. Would have been great on Another Side instead of ballad in plain D.
