Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 91.6/100, a mean average of 90.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 91.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 13.1.

OMG, This is insane. I think it should get a higher rating
Best vocal performance in Rock music period.

Most incredible vocal performance I've ever heard. Very interesting how they told her to sing how she'd imagine what dying is like.
I always used to skip this track when I was younger, I just found it horrible, but now I think of it completely differently. There's always one particular moment in the song when the Hammond organ slams in and swirls around as Clare Torry hits a particular note, which gets me every time.
Excellent Track

Claire Torrey!

Sits on the album like an emotional breakthrough. Comes out of nowhere and hits you with its sheer power with no reservations. Beautiful, heartfelt, powerful and awe inspiring all at the same time.
Probably my favorite non-lexical vocal performance ever, such an awesome song throughout!
Oh gosh, I've heard this song before but didn't know the album, or shamefully not even the artist. Simply superb.
