One of the best compilations of all time, they could have made an Echoes Vol. 2 and 3 with all the great music Pink Floyd have made over the years. If you want to start getting to know what Pink Floyd are all about get this and then explore their back catalogue. (Edited)

If you are new to Pink Floyd, get this album, it's essential music, (though in no way covers all of Pink Floyd's best tracks). Once you become familiar with these tracks, then you will need to get all the albums, this collection has then done its job.
I recommend getting the albums. This material needs to be heard in relation to the other tracks on the records. (Edited)
95/100. One of the greatest bands of all-time, but a catch-all compilation can't really do them justice. I don't really like the later stuff, it's pleasant enough, but it's completely irrelevant to the other music of it's time (1987-1994). And Pink Floyd were always ahead of the pack and hugely influential.
Great compilation and with the track listings could never achieve a low score. I would like to have seen 'Careful With That Axe Eugene' and 'Paintbox' or 'Remember A Day' in place of 'Jugband Blues' and 'Bike' from the Sid era but that's just personal.
