Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 89.2/100, a mean average of 88.5/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 89.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.0.

Amazing song, one of the best on an amazing record.
A terrific structure and for 1971 some interesting and ahead of their time lyrics. One of the best songs on this album packed with brilliant tracks.
The first time I heard the piano part I thought of The Beatles' "Martha My Dear" and then I found out Wikipedia says the two songs are often compared so I was proud of myself lol.
If you ever need any proof that David Bowie writes lyrics like Michelangelo made paintings, look no further than this.
I like it!
I have a pretty funny history with this song. Kinda like an in-joke between me and my dad. I first listened to this song was when I was in my dad's car and he had Bowie's greatest hits from '69-'74 and I was asleep and when as soon as Bowie said: "Wake up you sleepy head" I immediately woke up bemused. Me and my dad both laughed afterwards.
Anyway, good song.
David Bowie's got such a different style.
