A great example of an album closer.
It differs from all the previous tracks which have similar tempos, by being slower, hence, balladic, and the whole album builds-up to this song.
The lovely slow first verse in D Minor craves for a breakdown, which comes as the chorus begins: As it introduces key changes from D minor to F major (which are relative keys), then to Bb major (which F major is its dominant key) and back to D minor as the chorus ends. As a result, the chorus sounds mysterious yet it is successfully captivating.
And Elizabeth's soft vocals blend well with the instruments.
A unique song standing out in the dream pop soundscape.
