One of the hardest songs in recorded history. Goosebumps to high heaven on every chorus, especially that second one. Glistening with cool, subdued, late-summer-night concert energy. Joplin's visceral vocals are a force of nature that deserve pages in history dedicated to this performance alone, dancing on top and sending shivers down your spine. This is everything you could possibly want from late 60s bluesy pyschedelic rock, and everything you could possibly want from music in general frankly.
The cool trippy guitar, Janis's range from superb touches to gutsy soulful power vocals and such an excellent rhythm section just bringing at all together. Superb!
