Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. Brilliant nightmare version of New York new York. Tom Waits digs deep into the bowels of the screaming earth to bring us the twisted sounds of jazz from hell. Crazy genius.
