I’ve fallen. Incomparable. Just logged in to give upgrade to 100/100 and I’d clearly done it before.
His best song.
A fine song, though I don't think it's quite the masterpiece of this album, as it doesn't really go anywhere musically. Most of the points here come from Van's fantastic vocals and his lyrics about this mysterious Madame George character. Ultimately a very pretty piece of music.
Such a beautiful song that whilst it is nearly 10 minutes playing time, it engages and pulls you in to the story and music. By the end, I really felt it was only 3 or 4 minutes time gone! Magic artist !!
