Average Rating = (n ÷ (n + m)) × av + (m ÷ (n + m)) × AVwhere:

Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 2% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 85.8/100, a mean average of 85.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 86.8/100. The standard deviation for this track is 15.1.

The band left one of the great songs of the 60’s until the final track on the album. Broken Arrow is a gem of a song and, unusually for Buffalo Springfield is a long track, coming on at over six minutes, and is still one of Neil Young’s greatest songs.
This song hints at what Neil would become and it’s the most complex track on the album taking over 100 hours to record. Was Young taking notes from the Beatles, either continuously or sub-continuously when recording this. Who knows. It certainly feels like some Beatles influences going on here
Neil wrote it after one of a number of break ups. After his return he recorded this song.
I get it if people find this song hard work but I adore it
One of the greatest songs ever recorded.
This song starts with Mr. Soul, before it becomes something completely different.
