This is one of my favourite ever singles. It is a massively fine soul song and anyone with any inkling whatsoever for Soul Music, is likely to be enamoured. The genre terms 'Neo-Soul', and 'Contemporary R&B' only barely, and very rarely, aptly describe the musical glories of great Soul Music. The genius of Womack perfectly fits that category.
