All around great Van Halen track. Very well put together hard-pop-rock.
One of their best songs
Who would've thought that Van Halen - the same California bar band that went on to hire Sammy Hagar to screech over a synth-pop power ballad called "Why Can't This Be Love?" in '86 - would (or could) write one of the most charged and - at the same time - listenable punk songs ever waxed..? No easy feat.
Naturally, this occurred in '78, several years before they started thinking' 'bout, never mind talkin' 'bout 'love.

Another of my favorite Van Halen songs. The riff is one of Eddie's best and I love that it has side of wide range of high and low notes and everything in the middle.
