According to McCartney, this was influenced by The Lovin’ Spoonfuls Daydream. There are thoughts that it might also have been influenced by The Kinks, Sunny Afternoon.
I find it a very pleasant listen. Not particularly ground breaking but a decent tune.

Feelgood song this :D Not the best on the album, but fits in all the same! The intro might be the best part in my opinion :)
A good song, but to be honest, it's one of the more throwaway numbers from the Revolver album. It's a very good song, brilliantly delivered, but it's certainly not one of the album's essential tracks. Still perfect though.
I woke up every day to this song on my alarm clock for years in HS and college. It put me in great spirits to start the day. It was a much better song to wake up to than beep beep beep beep. The optimism and upbeat tempo in this song puts a smile on my face every time.
