Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 88.3/100, a mean average of 87.2/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.7/100. The standard deviation for this track is 14.0.

Ringo Starr's drumming here is something else. Oh and John's performance is pretty good too I guess.
Nearly perfect. The only Beatle-related track Johnny Rotten liked
Can’t decide if this is the best Lennon song…. it might be Jealous Guy
if this doesn't make you feel something, I don't think you can be human
A song that guarantees to depress you, no matter you're family situation. Hits right in the feels.
This is a really good and really emotional song. That being said, I think the last two minute's of John screaming could've been cut down a bit.
Great opening track. Raw and nakedly emotional. Lennon at his most achingly vulnerable best. Superb song.
One of the most emotional songs I've ever heard in my life.
"Didn't John Lennon rip off AC/DC here?" "This came out years before Back in Black" "He...he ripped them off" "...YEARS in advance, totally"
The church bells and the emotional voice and lyrics of John Lennon make for a very sad song.
