Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)
This track is rated in the top 1% of all tracks on BestEverAlbums.com. This track has a Bayesian average rating of 87.9/100, a mean average of 87.4/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 88.4/100. The standard deviation for this track is 11.7.

There is a lot to love about this song. The undeniable mood, the chord progression, the infectiously expressive vocal performance, and harmonica solos for the ages (seriously though, how many melodic variations can the man concoct?).
Isn’t She Lovely is more than just an amazing love song and one that is particularly iconic for the joy that comes with parenthood. It opens disc 2 of Songs.. in ways that represents regeneration and perhaps even reincarnation. After the ordeal of a verbal beat down the narrator finds himself in with Ordinary Pain closing the album’s first disc, the second disc opens with new life in a literal sense. The extraordinary pain he feels is gone, he’s uplifted by true love in the form of Aisha.
Pride, optimism, gratitude, and musical genius come together with great force on this track.

Is there a better song that expresses the feeling of getting a child? My absolute favorite of the album.
Stevie knows how to write.
