The subject matter is perhaps the main focus here, particularly how well the lyrics deal with it.
But I don't think enough praise is given to how fantastic that sky-high, downward guitar riff is that comes in at all the right moments throughout the song. Such a sense of huge, open-sky feeling. Begs you to blast down the motorway heading to anywhere shouting along to the chorus.
An anthemic, goosebump inducing masterpiece. At least one of those stars is for that final section, another for the potent delicacy of that intro.
Just a masterpiece of music! Moreover I love the end of the song!
very moving song, you should definetely check out the music video, it gives the song a whole new perspective.
