Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some tracks can have several thousand ratings)

The track where I came to the realization that Funeral is on the Mount Rushmore of albums.
100/100
JODER. El segundo coro después que Win canta Every time you close your eyes, y Régine canta (LIES!! LIES!!) UF, qué hermoso, hermano. Hermosas armonías. Esto sí es buena música carajo.
Their best song, along with Neighbourhood #1. Neighbourhood is probably better in most objective ways; it has better lyrics, a more interesting structure, and is more ambitious overall. Rebellion, on the other hand, is relatively simple in both structure and lyrics, but, partly because of this, manages to be as close to pop perfection as I've ever heard. It's not something which can easily be explained, obviously the song is very well made, and I wouldn't be able to identify any weaknesses, but above and beyond all that this song manages to be flawless.
The one moment which elevates the song to these heights is, in my mind, key change in the last refrain. I will never understand how something so simple can be so transcendental.
That bass line, those lyrics...
.....hoooooooo every time you close your eyes hoooooooo....
It's that one chord change around "everytime you close your eyes" that gives this thing a different emotion torwards the end and makes it really kick ass.
Their very, very best. One of my favourite songs by anyone.
Sometimes I feel like this is the best Music piece ever written.
Awesome song!
The violin outro melody remains one of the best melodies in history of popular music, or at least one of the most purposeful, if you get what I mean.
The key change has no comparison either.
