The drums, the vocals, the electrifying soloing. One of the most perfect and fearsome metal tracks of all time.
Painkiller is a blistering, pummeling, shot in the arm of an opening track. Not only is this one of the best Judas Priest songs, it’s one of the great heavy metal songs ever.
This track and album definitely had a huge impact on driving a more mainstream acceptance for the, at the time, burgeoning death/extreme metal movement.
