If BEA users switched identities! I'm trying to pick users as pairs where I think they have personal similarities. It will probably be clear that I desperately try to find similarities between users, making some of the reasons a little dubious. But what the hell, here I go:
RFNAPLES <-> Hairymarx:
Think about it: two grown men who seems to be on the site to educate rather than having fun. They're never interested in having a conversation. When they post, they're showing off their superiority. Naples always know which albums are the greatest and which songs on them that are the best. His activity in the political forum is not an attempt to have a discussion or a dialogue: it's propaganda. Hairymarx always know the albums which has got most "emotional and artistic depth", and his descriptions of his favorites often feels a little too educational and pretentious. He also seems arrogant to what he dislikes. No joke, you can find this quote from him on the comment section for In the Aeroplane Over the Sea: "This album is a pile of shite..suitable for braindead suckers."
Jhereko <-> Hayden:
Both ranks among the most well known BEA members. Always very active on the forum, it's two of those persons who everybody knows and likes.
Eggman <-> Gary:
Like Jhereko and Hayden, Eggman and Gary are (or were) also very active and well known on the forums. Unlike the former, they are not liked by everybody. Their tendencies to write endless streams of posts that are often close to spam can be annoying at times.
CellarDoor <-> JoyOfDivision:
Both are among the nice guys of the site, known for having very high ranked charts that are good places for discovering new and interesting music (to me, at least). Both are Joy Division fanatics too.
kidamnesiac <-> thejoj96:
Both are pretty random. They both used to bash Naples for writing his "best track"-posts.
Purple <-> Mooseboy:
Neither are afraid to get a little harsh and post their thoughts and opinions uncensored. They are nice guys however.
Mancsoulsister <-> Mr Shankly:
Both +40 people (I think) who still want to have fun with the youngsters.
Romanelli <-> Bork:
Both appears as serious users, behaving rational and are often active in the political forum. Both are classic rock enthusiasts too.
19loveless91 <-> itsit:
Both are very active on the forum but always in the background. They never directs the tone of the forum or do something earth-shattering, but everybody on the forum know and like them (this one could be used for a lot of users).
an_outlaw <-> telefunker:
Holders of BEA's two most unlikely charts.
Polythene Pam <-> Jackcw:
I think I had a very good reason for this one, but I forgot it.
harkan <-> Norman Bates:
They are both teachers as far as I know (this was pretty stupid, but what the heck).
Necharsian <-> lethanizzle:
They are both fun and have a lot of great posts I don't know really, I just thought they had to be mentioned.
swedenman <-> Mothe Nature's Son:
They are always in the same conversation! Seriously, they also write in the exact same style! I can never tell who's who or the difference between them.
Captain_Dude <-> Le_Samurai:
The "what album are you listening to right now?"-thread is absolutely the only thread they're posting in: they are really active in that thread though.
That's it so far. If I get to think about some other great pairs, I'll might post them too.
Interesting list. Some of the pairs are predictable of course, and some I didn't see coming (particularly the Jhereko and Hayden one, and the reasoning doesn't convince me it's a good pair anyway)
I think you're spot on with the swedenman and Mother Nature's Son pair. It looks unusual on the surface but yeah, they're almost always in the same conversation. With me. So maybe you should make it a group of three people, with me the third one.
Lol it's funny because I hate kidamnesiac now. He's banned anyway. And I like your new avatar.
Yeah, some of his posts against Nape were really annoying. It was really stupid making a new account too and making in thread in Suggestions asking albummaster to unban him and ban Nape instead. He was practically asking to be banned again. At least Gary learned some manners (I don't know about the Political Forum though)
