The lyrics are as childish as the instrumentation is predictable. Obviously the poppy approach to the production is what has resulted in a large mainstream following and constant airplay on the radio stations; it's a vicious cycle of repetitive brainwashing rhythm (through constant listening) and popularization / publicity.
