Thinking about the genre thing and the overall dominance of Radiohead in every genre, it might be because they had a bunch of prescribed albums to choose from, and you can imagine if people are in a hurry, and or lazy that they might just go with whatever obvious choices jump out at them first. And there were some terrible omissions, some of which were inexplicable like leaving off Car Wheels on a Gravel Road by Luncinda Williams. I would think the average Americana fan would have that in their top 10 (paging Romanelli). Shit! I had it in my top 20 or 30, and I defined myself as a rock fan. But, in PF's defense, it was possible to write in albums, but let's face it: People are lazy and or busy, so they tend to go with what's easiest.
