an album Ive heard plenty of times in my childhood, it's a One Big Album that's actually more of a grower rather than an album that really stuns as a whole first time around. Despite moments of bombast, there is more than initially meets the ear here. It's also an album that kind of presents U2 best to an initially uninitiated audience, and it's hard to see one growing to like U2 if they detest this album, unless stabs at ironic dance pop is really your bread and butter (they're regretable (but quite argubaly so) 90s direction).
